One big award night. Millions spend on dressing the stars up. And then there were these stars… We have absolutely no clue what made a ‘Pretty Woman’ like Julia Roberts
slip on a menswear inspired Dolce and Gabbana collared frock for the
Awards. No, we don’t like the hairdo too Twee. Zooey Deschanel’s Oscar de la Renta ensemble at the Golden Globes
was just that. The flower in her hair, the embellished crop top, the
embellished shoes? Where were we supposed to look first? Will some one
tell this pretty lass not to be so matchy -matchy? Drew had that happy pregnant glow, but her Monique Lhuillier dress was
dull. We loved the make -up, the red lips and the red pumps – but the
floral dress was nothing to write about. But then, dressing up a baby
bump is a tricky business – though Drew has done better earlier. We so wanted to pluck out that extra growth off Paula Patton’s dress. Less said the better A perfect ten for make up. Hairdo we like, skin tone next to perfect,
but then came the Prabal Gurung disaster. It was clearly a misstep.
Perhaps her first in recent times. Aubrey Plaza's dress with that giant bow looked straight out of a 2000
album. More of a bridesmaid dress than something you would wear to the
Globes. Red suits Bérénice Bejo - but not the updo, nor the layers in the dress!
